We are pleased to announce the release of JoGo RDF in RDF Portal.
The Joint Open Genome and Omics Platform (JoGo) constructs and catalogs human haplotypes primarily using third-generation long-read sequencing technologies.
JoGo 1.0 comprises 258 datasets from five population groups and provides a haplotype catalog covering 19,194 protein-coding genes based on MANE annotations. The data use the ATCG haplotype nomenclature newly developed by JoGo, which assigns consistent identifiers to haplotypes at four levels: amino acid sequence (A), transcript (T), coding sequence (C), and whole gene (G). JoGo also catalogs single-nucleotide variants, insertions, and deletions, with annotations based on comparisons with telomere-to-telomere (T2T) genome assemblies of non-human primates.
The RDF representation enables SPARQL queries and integration with other life science datasets in RDF Portal.
